Last Viking Norway As was established to be a positive disruptor in the food industry, serving and solve critical water treatment for the industry, municipalities and governments, with the overall objective to reduce the use of harmful chemicals.
Our mission is to enhance safety and reduce pollution by bringing unique powerful and sustainable products to market.
Last Viking Norway As is managed by an experienced board with track records in global business for the last 40 years.
• We introduce innovative products to the market, increasing overall safety, eliminating virus and bacteria and reducing negative environmental impact.
• Our products were originally developed by UK Biotech Specialists Bio2Pure for their ground breaking work in water treatment, now under the ownership of our partner Synthesis Ltd.
• More recently – key products have been developed by the team at Synthesis Ltd with a particular focus on the food industry.
• Last Viking Norway As and Synthesis Ltd started our co-operation and partnership 4 years ago. Together we represent the whole value chain from production to market.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Arnfinn Kirkenes, a full time board member and investor through AIK Holding AS.
Asset management experience from international banking in Europe, Asia and USA. Most senior positions, among them Managing Director of Avanse Forvaltning AS, at that time a leading mutual fund company in Norway.
Since 2018 involved in different companies as advisor, board member and investor.
Mr. Kirkenes has an extensive Norwegian and international network , among them, private investors, financial and industrial companies.
Arnfinn Kirkenes
Stein is educated at the Norwegian School of Management and has international management experience from management-for-hire positions in several industries and various senior management positions including multiple VP positions of SAS - Scandinavian Airlines and Management Director Nordics of Handicare Group.
His primary experience is related to commercial & operational excellence, customer programs and distribution and business and corporate development.
During the last year Stein has held several non-executive directorships, among member of the board of Flytoget, Chairman of Covestor (property investments) and Chairman of a listed sustainable energy company (now Get Group).
Stein Bemer
Retired from the Armed Forces with solid experience over the last 20 years in leading positions in the Coast Guard, as commander of the Coast Guard in Northern Norway and deputy commander of the Coast Guard in Norway. He also has international experience both in management in the maritime industry and in Arctic expertise, especially in search and rescue through the SARiNOR projects.
Awarded the Navy's Medal of Merit as a respected leader who is able to see everyone around him, and manages to get his employees to perform to the best of the Coast Guard and the Navy.
Steve Olsen
CEO and COB of Filkas AS since 2021, an investment and advisory company specializing in financial asset management.
Mr Gjertsen has 18 years experience from international banking in Europe, Asia and USA, where he had several senior positions at international banks.
Since 2000 he worked as senior portfolio manager for Inter IKEA in Brussels and from 2014 at Interogo Foundation in Liechtenstein that is the ultimate owner of the IKEA concept. He has 20 years experience in managing a global macro fund with a historically strong track record.
He has experience in risk management, financial analysis, asset allocation, investment management and portfolio strategy.
